FAQs
Below you will find some FAQs related to The Big Community Clean Up, if we do not answer your question below please get in touch via rosie@mrs-bucket.co.uk
It’s an annual event where we come together to clean and improve a nominated community space, making it safer, cleaner and more enjoyable for everyone. This is our first, but definitely our first of many!
Anyone from the public can nominate a community space that is in need of some TLC.
To be eligible for the Community Clean Up, the space you nominate should meet the following criteria:
-
Publicly accessible – The space must be open to the public.
-
In need of a clean-up – We’re looking for areas that are visibly in need of a deep cleaning and general TLC.
-
Located in South Wales – This year’s clean-up is focused on spaces within the South Wales region.
-
Safe to access – The area must be safe for our team and volunteers to work in.
-
Community value – The space should be used, loved or needed by the local community.
The more detail you can share in your nomination – including photos (optional) and the reasons why it deserves a clean-up – the better!
Simply fill out a nomination form with details about the location and why it needs attention.
On the 24th of July our panel will review all nominations and shortlist three spaces. Then, the public will vote to select the winning space for the clean-up event.
The clean-up date and location will be announced after the public vote, we are welcoming votes from any community spaces in South Wales/Mid West Wales. Keep an eye on this page and our social media for updates.
