Award Winning Rachael Flanagan (24), Managing Director of Mrs Bucket Cleaning Services was personally invited to join the Prime Minister, David Cameron at 10 Downing Street at a reception to celebrate St David’s Day on 29th February 2012. The St David’s Day event happens once every four years. This year’s guests included a variety of Welsh Celebrities including Joanne Paige from Gavin and Stacey, TV presenter Steve Jones, the Welsh Rugby team as well as representatives from Welsh businesses and the armed forces.

When the invitation to Downing Street arrived through Rachael’s letterbox she was delighted. She was even more pleased when during the celebrations at Downing Street, she was singled out by the Prime Minister for a one-to-one chat.

Says Rachael, “It was amazing having the opportunity to chat with the Prime Minister face-to-face. He was very interested in my business and how many jobs Mrs Bucket Cleaning Services has created over the last six years.

“He was also impressed with our plans for future growth and development and in particular the launch of our Services throughout Wales. The St David’s Day event at Downing Street only takes place every four years and I hope by then, if I get another invitation, of course, Mrs Bucket will be as well known across the UK as it is in South Wales.”
