Hillary Clinton and Rachael Flanagan celebrate ‘Gutsy Welsh Women’

Welsh entrepreneur and founder of commercial cleaning company Mrs. Buckét, Rachael Flanagan recently attended a panel discussion with Hillary Clinton to celebrate her new book ‘Gutsy Women’.

Rachael attended the event at Swansea University alongside fellow prominent and inspiring Welsh women. The former US secretary of state shared the stage with Professor Elwen Evans, Minister for Education Kirsty Williams and Laura McAllister. The four women discussed thought provoking topics as they inspired everyone in attendance.

Award winning businesswoman Rachael Flanagan, said “I was only 18 when I started Mrs. Buckét. People told me I couldn’t start a business but that was the grit inside me which got me up every morning at 5am and gave me the determination to succeed.

Running your own business is hard work. Who you surround yourself with is the key to growth in so many ways. Hillary Clinton is a very inspiring yet powerful and authentic woman. I’ve recently returned from maternity leave and have big plans for the future. It was a fantastic experience to see her and celebrate gutsy Welsh women.”
