Job description

Monday to Friday (plus occasional weekends)

40 hours per week (plus additional hours where needed)

Split Shifts (early morning, daytime and evenings)

On-call responsibility as part of a rota

£21,800 per annum pro rata – plus overtime

This is a key role in our Operations Team, reporting directly into the Team Leader. Your performance will ensure a consistent and seamless delivery of both outstanding cleaning and customer service. A customer facing role, you will need excellent communication skills, flexibility to work and calmness under pressure. The role covers multiple sites during a day, covering planned and unplanned absence and some working across split shifts. This role is a hands-on cleaning position as well as a supervisory role. Your supervisory duties may include interviewing, inducting and training new starters as well as coaching existing employees, where necessary. As the first point of contact for both our customers and front-line cleaners, you are expected to show great leadership, upholding our standards and company values.

The Role:

  • Be an ambassador for Mrs Buckét, our standards and our values
  • Act as first point of contact to cover holidays and/or troubleshoot any issues
  • Support the Area Manager to manage the contracts with customers, handling any queries that arise and finding solutions
  • Assist the Area Manager with any employee issues, where necessary
  • General cleaning duties including, but not limited to; dusting, mopping, hoovering, emptying bins, deep cleans
  • Operate a range of machinery including scrubber driers, buffing machines plus those to strip and seal floors
  • Supervise Trial Clean interviews for potential new cleaners, as required
  • Help train and develop new starters and existing colleagues as appropriate
  • Previous experience of cleaning in commercial premises would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Supervisory experience is desirable
  • Other ad hoc duties, where needed, to support the business

A Full driving licence is essential as this role involves daily independent travel in a company vehicle
