 Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to drive and deliver the end-to-end recruitment process of our continuously growing business across Wales and the South West.  This position sits within the People and Recruitment Division and reports directly into the Managing Director. Working closely with the operations team and senior management and with the support of an Administrator, you will be the key person to drive the recruitment strategy, ensure all open vacancies are filled quickly without compromising on quality and with a huge focus on building future talent pipelines across the region.

What you will be doing

  • Take open vacancy job briefs from Area Managers and other senior members of the team
  • Place adverts on company website, job boards and other social media channels
  • Source applicants from Job boards and social media channels including Linked In
  • Build and maximise a sound referral network both internally with employees and externally
  • Build and manage sound relationships with external partners including agencies where necessary
  • Screen applicants via telephone (and face-to-face when permitted)
  • Arrange interviews and work trials with the operations team
  • Liaise closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure a clear understanding of future recruitment needs via region to assist with future talent pipeline planning and building
  • Build a strong talent pipeline for future roles increasing the database and reducing the ‘open to fill’ timescales
  • Ensure maximum candidate engagement through the recruitment and onboarding process
  • Successfully onboard candidates ensuring all new starter records are correct and compliant
  • Carry out DBS checks for new starters when necessary
  • Collate divisional activity and results data, compile reports and deliver findings to the Senior Management Team on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Look at new ways of attracting Talent into the business using creative and solution based thinking
  • Divisional budget management


About you

  • This is a busy role so you will be super organised with strong personal prioritisation and multitasking skills
  • Successful track record in delivering fast paced recruitment services to external customers or internal stakeholders
  • Extensive experience using Job Boards and Social Media channels including Linked In
  • Able to form key relationships with colleagues across the business
  • Strong forecasting and analytical skills
  • A self-starter who needs little guidance
  • Solution based mindset
  • System savvy with strong IT skills, comfortable working with a variety of systems
  • Friendly, positive and approachable

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced level competency using all social media channels
  • Must have strong Linked In and networking skills
  • Competent IT and Technology skills including Excel and Powerpoint
